I love soccer. It gives us great exercise in the cool fall air. I've played for almost my whole life, and I like goalie the best! This got me thinking about the World Cup, which is going on right now in Russia. The world is a crazy place right now, but the World Cup brings together people from all over the planet. In a time of turmoil it reminds us that we're all just humans who like to have fun. I looked up some numbers about the World Cup and here's what I found: -In 2010 the World Cup was in South Africa. There were over 3 million attendees, 2.2 billion viewers, and 900 million viewers watched the final game! That's almost a third of the WORLD that tuned in at some point! -In 2012 there were 8 million tickets sold and over 3.6 billion viewers. That means that almost HALF of the world tuned in to the World Cup at least once! These are huge numbers that really show how the entire world comes together during events like this. I really wish the world would remember that if we were all able to be nice to each other and play fairly with each other, everyone would be much happier!

I decided to write about my favorite Mustang, because I loved Mustang my whole life. My dad had a 1984 and a 1981. He raised me to love Ford and Ford Mustang, so I decided to do research on Ford Mustangs from 1964 to 1979. My favorite car is the 1965 Shelby edition - it's my idea of the perfect vehicle. Here are my facts on the 1965: - Carroll Shelby is the father of the Cobra. In 1964 Ford was worried they wouldn't sell enough Mustangs so they reached out to Shelby, who was a famous car racer and designer. - The Shelby Mustang is a high-performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby American from 1965-1970. It had many racing parts installed that weren't available in other cars. - The 1965-66 cars were the smallest and lightest of the GT 350. - The cars were often called Cobras. The changes that Shelby brought to the Mustang made it the coolest car in the world, which is why I like it so much. What's your favorite car??
I was looking through sport news and I saw the Yankees vs Cubs. I saw that it was a long game (18 innings!) so that got me thinking. The way baseball does overtime now does not work. Here are a few options for ways we could do baseball overtime in the future! Option 1: Keep the rules the way they are. Baseball players will overwork their bodies and be more likely to get injured. Option 2: I checked Forbes.com and they had an article about the MLB changing the rule to start every extra inning with a runner on second base. This will make it so we don't have games that last too long. Option 3: If it's a long game then it should only have two more innings. Then if nobody has a point it should be over because baseball players need their sleep and they get sore. They play 162 games already! In my opinion I think the bases should be loaded so the fans don't fall asleep. So at the end we can have a exciting finish. Both teams can get a shot at winning! Let us know what you think in the comments!
